Acupuncture and dry needling

At Bargoed Chiropractic Clinic, we offer acupuncture to help relieve pain, improve movement and support recovery from a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

What is *medical acupuncture*?

Acupuncture involves the gentle insertion of sterilised, single-use needles into precise points around the body. Within chiropractic care, our trained practitioners use medical acupuncture (dry needling) techniques that focus on reducing muscle tension.

Our Chiropractors are fully qualified and experienced in acupuncture for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries and joint dysfunction. Acupuncture can be provided as part of your chiropractic treatment plan, in combination with manual therapy, shockwave therapy or rehabilitation exercises, or as a standalone treatment depending on your needs.
